Goals and New Routines in 2023
Happy new year Sudbury community! We sincerely hope that the start of 2023 has been filled with positivity, happiness, and good spirits.
Not only that, we hope that everyone who set resolutions has been sticking with them. But, we know, that can be difficult.
These past few years have taught us a lot about health, wellness, and well-being. The use of mindfulness philosophies can help achieve goals or, better known at this time of year, resolutions.
Incorporate mindfulness practices into your daily routine. Take time to focus on your breathing or methods to achieve your goals. While drinking your morning coffee or going on an afternoon walk, for example.
This year, instead of one over-ambitious goal or overall resolution, try something different. Take on smaller goals each month, or pick a word that inspires your choices for the year.
Think outside the box and go for some non-typical resolutions. Such as being more polite, meeting new people, learning a new skill, becoming more romantic, or so many other things!
