Welcoming in Autumn at The Sudbury
Yes, yes we know summer doesn’t end until the 23rd- but fall is right around the corner! Autumn is home to cooler weather, Halloween, and pumpkin spice! But we are getting ahead of ourselves. September is the start of something new. The Sudbury encourages you to embrace it.
As mentioned, autumn doesn’t start until September 23rd, the fall equinox. Which is one of two dates each year where day and night are practically equal. Days are becoming shorter than nights as the Sun continues to rise later and nightfall arrives earlier. This continues up until the winter solstice.
Whether you wait for the official start of the fall season or you are ready to drive straight in, there are plenty of ways to start the celebration of the new season. Start simple by using traditional fall scents like pumpkin, vanilla, or cinnamon.
Then, get yourself something new to wear. Like a buffalo plaid pajama set, button-up shirt, skirt, anything! You can also prepare your home for the cooler weather by finding the heavier and fluffier blankets, or with some seasonal decor.
It may be hard to believe, but 2023 is two-thirds complete. Welcome in the autumn season as a fresh start and a new beginning for the final leg of the year. Make it one for the scrapbook.
